Maintenance
You've now acquired a delightful duvet, and you want it to endure for many years. With the right care, you can prolong your duvet's lifespan and ensure it remains delightful. To maintain hygiene and its insulating abilities, your duvet should be washed a few times annually, typically 2-4 times. It's crucial not to exceed or fall short of this. While many duvets can be washed at 60 degrees, always adhere to the washing instructions specific to your duvet. It's essential to allocate enough time to wash and thoroughly dry your duvets and pillows, ensuring they dry completely.
Regarding maintenance, here are some general tips:
- Avoid placing a bedspread over your duvet immediately after waking up. As you naturally release moisture while sleeping, covering your duvet with a bedspread straightaway can trap this moisture. We recommend ventilating your bedroom for approximately 15-20 minutes before doing anything else.
- Shake your duvet daily to lift and evenly distribute the filling. Shaking the duvet also preserves its insulation properties.
